I personally love shooting Ruger 10/22 rifles. There is something very satisfying about the low recoil, low noise, and not spending a ton of money shooting a lot of rounds. I love setting up targets at a variety of distances and seeing who among my friends is the best shot. It’s a very enjoyable and relaxing way to spend the afternoon. And for outdoor adventures, the Takedown model of this rifle is ideal because it packs down to such a small package. Thank you Firearmzstore!!!!

Good day

I shot the Shield Plus better, which is why I still have it and the Max-9 went back to the Guns Vault. Both guns should hold up really well to the demands of daily carry, and either would be a fine choice for your next concealed carry gun.

It’s no secret the firearms market saw a huge increase in imported guns since the latter half of 2020, with a particular rise in affordable Turkish-made shotguns. These range from basic hunting and home defense guns to the more tacticool-type magazine-fed shotguns. The low price point is what stands out the most about these firearms. While affordable price tags can be attractive, it’s not worth much without some reliability to back it up.

We got in two of our best-selling Turkish imports from firearmzstore – the AR-style LND-117 shotgun and the bullpup BPX 902 – to give them a whirl on the range and see if the reliability could be paired with the affordable price.

I asked a number of gun friends for advice, and they suggested a few different options. But one friend in particular, Mark Muller, whom I trust and admire, said the following; “Dude, just get a Glock 19. You can’t go wrong. It’s affordable. It goes bang every time you pull the trigger. You can trick it out or keep it stock. It’s just a great gun. It’s probably the only handgun you ever need.”

Not long ago, Marlin claimed their Model 39 platform as the eldest continually produced, shoulder-fired rifle of all time. Though that record ended when the Marlin brand was parted-off to current Ruger ownership, the rimfire world is anticipating a return of this beloved classic. Will some variant of the beloved Model 39 return to production under Ruger’s tutelage? And just why is there such high demand for this lever-driven classic? firearmzstore.com provides you with a closer look at the life and times of the Marlin 39 family of rimfires.

I’ve lately found myself stuffing a small Beretta 21A chambered for .22 LR into my regular range kit. Why? Well, um, I guess it’s kind of become my backup range gun. It takes up almost zero space, costs pennies to shoot, and is actually quite enjoyable to fire for a micro double-action/single-action pistol.

The Bobcat is one of several charming little Berettas that feature tip-up barrels, though calling it the “Bobcat” is a bit of a tall order for what is more of a “Mighty Mouse.” Don’t get me wrong, .22 LR is nothing to sneeze at, and you’ll find me near the back of the line for volunteers interested in getting shot with any gun that isn’t part of the Nerf family of firearms.

But it shines for me as an accurate little range gun in particular. Yeah, sure, .22 LR might be a bit anemic when compared to modern self-defense calibers, and the reliability would always be in the back of my mind if I carried this gun for that purpose. All of that is forgiven for how it performs on the range and the mechanical cool factor behind the pistols.

I’ve discovered few joys in life as predictable as plinking with a budget rifle that doesn’t pretend to be anything more. My first .22 LR rifle was a plain Jane Ruger 10/22 complete with the modern plastic trigger group and a cheap off-brand scope probably better suited for an airsoft rifle.

The closest thing to a frill on that gun was an updated bolt release that made it just a hair easier to load and shoot on the range. I’ll make no claims about this gun holding magical sub-MOA groups with just the right ammo, but it can still score some decent marks with minimal effort at 50 and 100 yards even when just burning through budget Federal bulk pack ammo.

Sarsilmaz’s SAR 9 is a 9mm, striker-fired, polymer-framed pistol that boasts a 17-round magazine and trigger safety. Sound familiar? While it’s ostensibly a Turkish production gun based on the H&K VP9, it’s tough to miss the similarities to the Glock 17 in areas like size, capacity, and takedown.

If you’re in love with your Glock, I’m tempted to tell you to look away now because you’re probably sick of seeing “similar” guns. But don’t jump ship just yet. After spending time with the SAR 9, I’ve come to appreciate some great characteristics, not to mention reliability, that could really appeal to American shooters if you give them a chance.

With a “Blade Runner”/”RoboCop” futuristic aesthetic, the FK Brno PSD pistol can move seamlessly across four calibers, including the very compelling 7.5 FK.

FK Brno first appeared on the scene in the Czech Republic a decade ago, eventually bringing its Field Pistol to market by 2015. A sort of souped-up CZ 75 with lots of extra meat, the Field Pistol was designed around the potent new 7.5 FK cartridge – which we will get to in a minute, hold on – and made entirely by machining specialty high-strength alloys to create a beautiful gun complete with aluminum G10 grips.

Henry’s singe-shot in .350 Legend joins the .450 Bushmaster as the two additions to the company’s single-shot line in 2021. The matte-blued .350 Legend is fitted with a 22-inch round, blued steel barrel with 1:16 rate of twist. The rifle is dressed with capable iron sights – a fully adjustable folding leaf rear and a standing front with a brass bead. Hunters who prefer optics will find the rifle drilled and tapped from the factory and ready to accept a standard Weaver 82 mount, which can be found in stores or ordered through Henry’s online Pride store.

There’s minimal recoil on any .350 Legend, but with this rifle weighing in at 7.18 pounds bare and fitted with a solid black rubber recoil pad, shooting it repeatedly is a breeze even for sensitive shooters. This single shot, like Henry’s others, is a full-size rifle with a 14-inch length of pull. Built for practical hunting, it includes swivel studs for quick sling or bipod attachment. The overall length is only 37.5 inches, giving the Henry a compact overall profile for a potent hunting rifle at sub-200 yards.
